The Retro Re-pin Party Week 36 featuring Paper Lilies

It’s Time to Retro Re-pin Party!

This week has been a lot less eventful than the week before. The most exciting part was building a raised garden bed with my hubby in our front yard. We have a tiny backyard that’s mostly deck and doesn’t have much afternoon sun, so the front yard just makes more sense for a vegetable garden. Hopefully our neighbors in downtown Denver understand and don’t freak out that we’ve just pulled up a ton of grass. Do any of you garden in your front yard? Or garden at all? What’s your favorite thing to grow?

Here’s what I’ve been up to this week:

This brain cake is awesome!! An oozing no-bake cheesecake brain cake for your next Walking Dead get together.
Anyone else a fan of the Walking Dead? We put this fun no-bake brain cheesecake together for the Season Finale party we had. You use a mold, so it comes together super-fast and super-easy!

The Retro Re-pin Party is a quick, weekly link party where you can share some of your older (or “retro”) pinned blog posts and give them some new exposure while growing your Pinterest reach through re-pins.

My Feature This Week:

Paper Origami Lilies-the Pin Junkie

I just love these Paper Lilies from Bonnie at The Pin Junkie

I love that they can brighten up an Easter table in a jiffy, and they’re fairly easy to make, especially if you have some experience with origami. The little yellow centers pull it all together! I’m planning to make a few for my centerpiece and stick them under a couple upside down wine glasses with tea lights on top like these.  Click on the image to re-pin this craft and show Bonnie some re-pin love!
