Welcome to the Retro Re-pin Party!

This week has just been flying by! I can’t believe it’s already time for another party. This week had some great highs and lows. If you follow me on Instagram, you’ll remember that the low was when I stripped a gear in my beloved KitchenAid mixer while making my favorite pizza dough. I pretty much just stood there in shock and started crying. Thankfully my hubby knew what was up, and let me know that the gear is designed to break before the whole machine blows up, so it’s easily fixable. (I could never live without my mixer!) As far as my high goes: I haven’t been as active on the blog here in the past few weeks because I’m working on launching a new and exciting project. I can’t share any details here yet, but rest assured that you’ll be the first to know, and the blogging will return to normal soon! What are your highs and lows this week?

Here’s what I’ve been up to in the past week:

King Ranch Chicken - a creamy, cheesy, layered chicken enchilada casserole. This always disappears first at potlucks!
King Ranch Chicken Casserole (A creamy Tex-Mex enchilada dish) + Meal Plan Monday

The Retro Re-pin Party is a quick, weekly link party where you can share some of your older (or “retro”) pinned blog posts and give them some new exposure while growing your Pinterest reach through re-pins.

These Friendship Cookies from Tammy at Creative K Kids

St. Patrick’s Day is coming up on Tuesday, so these cookies caught my eye. I have been on such a cookie kick lately, and wanted to break out of my rut of only using my top 2 go-to recipes. These are a variation on oatmeal chocolate chip and look so fun with the white and green chocolate chips! I’d be your friend if you brought these to my door. Be sure to show Tammy some re-pin love. (And be sure to check out her Ultimate Pinterest Party on Fridays – It’s one of my favorite weekly link parties!)
