Welcome again to the Retro Re-pin Party!

This week has been a crazy drop in the weather here in Denver! Monday morning it was about 50 degrees when I left the house for work, and by the time I got home it was 20 degrees and there was snow on the ground. Today has been even crazier with 3 inches of snow and 11 degrees outside. I’m headed to a meeting tonight and planning to try to get away with wearing sweatpants because it is just SO COLD! Especially when you factor in the native Texan freeze index of anything below 40 degrees requiring a parka. What’s your favorite way to warm up in the winter time? I love making hot comfort food. Earlier this week I posted a recipe for Falafel Waffles – they’re great when you get home late and want a hot, easy meal, but don’t want to wait a long time for it to be done.

On to the party! I’m hoping you’ll share some great cold weather recipes, Thanksgiving ideas, or indoor activities for when it’s too cold to go outside. Remember to pin your posts first and then link up that PINTEREST PIN to the party below so we can show it some extra re-pin love! (Pinterest ranks re-pins higher than pins.)

My favorite post from last week is:

Very Cherry Cheesecake Bites - christyscookingcreations

Very Cherry Cheesecake Bites from Christy over at Christy’s Cooking Creations

These no-bake treats are stuffed with cheesecake, graham cracker bits, and cherries. She then dipped them in chocolate and rolled them in sprinkles. So much fun! I know I’m pinning this to take to a holiday party in the coming months. Can you imagine how adorable they would be with Christmas sprinkles?  You should go pin these too!

Here’s a Feature Button for you Christy!

I’m so glad you shared them! It’s incredibly cold and snowing out, but I’m trying to figure out a way I can manage to get all the ingredients to make them tomorrow. Because they are seriously calling out to me to make them now so I can eat them!
