Earlier this month, I signed up to participate in the Color Swap hosted by Melissa over at Two Miracles.
If you’ve never done a swap before, the basic idea is that you get paired with a partner, send some emails back and forth to get to know them, and then you each send a package to the other of a few things you think they’ll love. This one had the additional caveat that the items needed to be in the other person’s favorite color. It was so fun to shop for a box of items all in one color!
This was my first swap, but my partner, Jennifer at Inner-workings of the Female Mind has done several, so she helped me learn the ropes. (And we bonded over the fact that neither of us really likes chocolate.) You can check out her blog for some other swaps she’s participated in.
My favorite color is blue (you’re all SHOCKED right?), so she sent me several blue items.
Here’s what I received:

I’m a huge Doctor Who fan, and Jennifer was spot on with what she sent! I squealed with delight when I opened this.
A TARDIS mug that has a disappearing TARDIS. Add a hot beverage and the TARDIS jumps to the other side of the mug that’s in space. How neat is that?!?!

Some wooden ornaments for our Christmas Tree. (I collect wooden and unbreakable ornaments.)
Some cozy socks. (Just look at how fluffy they are!)
And there was also a blue metallic photo frame that I didn’t take a close-up of, but you can see it in the first shot.
